Keyboard Shortcuts

Speed up your workflow with these shortcuts:

• C - Copy current email address
• R - Refresh inbox
• N - Generate new email address
• T - Extend timer
• Esc - Close current message

Attachment Handling

TempMailSpot supports most common attachment types:

• Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT
• Images: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP
• Archives: ZIP, RAR (displayed, not extracted)
• Maximum size: 10MB per attachment

Click any attachment to download it directly. Attachments are stored temporarily and deleted when your inbox expires.

Email Export Options

Need to save an important email before it disappears? Use our export features:

• Copy as text: Plain text version for quick pasting.
• Download HTML: Full formatting preserved.
• Print-friendly: Optimized layout for printing or PDF export.

Session Management

Your session persists in your browser. Here's what you need to know:

• Closing the tab doesn't delete your inbox—it continues receiving mail.
• Opening a new tab creates a new address (your old one still works in the original tab).
• Use the "Extend" button before expiration to keep your inbox alive.
• Clear your browser data to fully reset your session.

Multiple Inboxes

Need more than one temporary address? Open multiple browser tabs or use incognito windows—each gets its own unique inbox.

HTML Email Rendering

TempMailSpot renders HTML emails safely:

• External images are loaded (useful for verification emails).
• JavaScript is disabled for security.
• Links open in new tabs with proper security attributes.
• Toggle between HTML and plain text views.
